TAG Bags is an acronym for "Technologically Advanced Game Bags". The first synthetic game bag made specifically for superior protection to care for your game meat in the field. TAG Bags are made from a proprietary fabric called Game-Vent™. The synthetic material has a precise thread count and fabric construction to allow for adequate ventilation, fabric strength, plus maximum durability. This special nylon material that has been weaved and dyed in a unique way, in order to create ventilation for proper air flow. Ours is the only game bag that provides this superior ventilation while also providing a lightweight and durable game meat bag. All other nylon materials negate air flow and that can result in meat spoilage.

This new set was conceptualized by hunting expert, Aron Snyder. He's a renowned backpack hunter who goes the distance and comes back heavy. He's always wanted a smaller set than our standard 24" X 44" TAG bags, so he asked us to make the perfect set for hunters who de-bone their game to shed weight on long pack outs. His harvests usually include big mule deer and trophy elk. The BOMB pack comes in a stuff sack with 6 bags inside and comes in at 10 oz.

For those exceptionally large whole muscle groups that need a little extra bag girth to get it done, we adjusted the bag dimensions to have a shorter stack and wider girth, with the goal of delivering a bag that was similar in weight but holds 50-lbs of fresh meat. This set weighs 11.7 ounces. We recognize some customers, especially sheep hunters, still prefer the longer skinnier bag formation for its stackable tight fitting delivery inside most backpacks. And the more tube-like the meat sack the easier to hang over willow branches on the move. If a customer asks me which one to choose, I say "1 in 10 bull elk downed will need the XL BOMB Bag set to effectively contain all edible meat, so 90% of the time the standard BOMB Bag set will serve brilliantly."

This set creation was a collaboration with Tok Air Service owner Zack Knaebel, who needed the lightest possible game bag that holds 50 lbs of fresh meat for his aircraft supported hunting logistics. “My job would be a whole lot easier if my hunters had a bag they could fill with meat and I could be sure that it weighed 50 lbs. Not 42 lbs or 67 lbs…50 lbs. This makes calculations easier, loading physics simpler and safer, and unloading a manageable task for one busy pilot. And I need a separate bag for tenderloin and backstraps, as well as a large bag for capes.” We made a set that fills all of Zach's requests. This set weighs 2 pounds.
