I designed the Legend for times when our Pioneer X-stream is too much boat but the PR-49 is just not enough. The Legend is a hybrid canoe/kayak. It hauls loads like a canoe but handles like a kayak. It can be maneuvered easily with a 240-cm kayak paddle or rowed with oars. Its intended function is to perform with one hunter, his gear, and an entire bull moose in river depths greater than 7”, but also provide effective hauling capacity and shallow draft for two people and moderate loads of gear and smaller game animals. This boat is an ideal option for commercial air travel with the floor removed and packed separately to meet 50-lb maximum checked-baggage rules, which makes it an ideal inflatable for anglers and hunters traveling to villages and towns across the state. There is no doubt that the Legend will live up to its name!
